Conasems Documentaries are short films that showcase successful experiences and innovative projects from Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS). Every year, a national competition selects the best initiatives from each state, and the prize is the production of a documentary about the winning project.

I scripted, directed, and produced more than 15 documentaries, leading the film crew and coordinating nationwide communication strategies to ensure these stories reached not only SUS professionals and managers but also the general public. Recognized by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other global health institutions, the series has become an important tool for documenting, studying, and replicating good public health practices in Brazil and worldwide.

Watch below some of the episodes I scripted, directed, and produced:

1) Home-based physical therapy

2) Development of children and adolescents with disabilities

3) Quality of life for the elderly

4) Suicide prevention among children and adolescents

5) Cinema and the prevention of depression in children and adolescents

6) Physical activity for seniors

7) Multidisciplinary care for children with autism
