This institutional video presents an overview of the National Council of Municipal Health Secretariats (Conasems) management cycle from 2021 to 2023 — a period that encompassed some of the most critical moments in recent Brazilian history: the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the beginning of the national vaccination campaign, the transition toward post-pandemic recovery, and the country’s most closely contested presidential election since democratization.

The video highlights the main achievements and challenges of the institution during this time, using clear data and storytelling to showcase Conasems’ leadership in coordinating Brazil’s public health response and supporting municipal health departments across all regions.

I wrote the script and directed the overall production, structuring the narrative to balance technical accuracy with emotional impact — illustrating, through numbers and stories, how Conasems helped strengthen the Unified Health System (SUS) during one of the most complex periods in its history.
